Help With H2H Points League

Hi guys, I'm a first time comissioner for a H2H Points League on Yahoo, and I need help with my scoring settings. In previous years I've played with friends and our leagues favored run producing power hitters and long-lasting strikeout pitchers, so my settings will probably be a little off. I'm trying too create the most balanced league possible so any suggestions would be appriciated, thanks!

Batting:

BB: 1
Single: 2
Double: 4
Triple: 6
HR: 8
SO: -1
Run: 2
RBI: 2
SB: 3
CS: -2

Pitching:

Qualiy Start: 5
Win: 5
Loss: -3
Saves: 3
Blown Save: -3
Holds: 3
Outs: 1
K: 1 (added on to out)
Hit: -1
BB: -1

My main concern is that the batters will overpower the pitchers, thoughts?

Batters should outscore pitchers in your league.

My favorite points scoring system for leagues with 12 or more teams resulted in a difference of 8 total points scored between A. Pujols and R. Halladay in 2010. I listed it below:

Scoring for Batters will be: Single=1, Double=2, Triple=3, Home Run=4, Walks=1, Runs=1, RBIs=1, Hit By a Pitch=1, Sacrifices=1, Stolen Base=2, Caught Stealing=-2, Strikeouts =-1, Ground into Double Play=-2 and Errors=-1.

Scoring for Pitchers will be: Innings Pitched=1 (.333 points per out), Wins=7, Saves=5, Strikeouts=1, Shutouts=5, Complete Games=5, Holds=5, Quality Starts=2, Earned Runs=-1, Losses=-3, Blown Saves=-2, Walks Issued=-1, Hit Batsmen=-1 and Wild Pitches=-1
