Postby oldmanbean » Sat Feb 19, 2011 8:09 pm

trying to build for future in the draft, but wonder if I could take care of it before. Do any of these trades make sense to offer??

My Cabrera ($26) for 2 of the following:

Dunn ($19) or Morales ($7) (not both) , then Stanton ($5) or Posey ($6)

12 team points keeper league.

We start 1 at each position plus an EH. 6 pitchers, weeekly lineups

C F Cervelli 9, J Posada 7
1B M Cabrera 26, C Pena 13

Miggy is still young enough to be a foundation of your roster for atleast 5 more years. I like the Posey part b/c you only have Cerevelli and Posada but don't think that upgrade makes up for the downgrade to Kendry or Dunn.

I would ask for Kendry, Posey and another top end OF

I cannot afford him for that long. We add $2 per year to salary.

Actually, I was not keeping either catcher. We are only allowed 12 keepers, so I cannot take more than 2 players in return.

Thanks!

I wouldn't do either of those trades. An elite player for a good player at 1b, and unproven rookies (remember Beckham??) What are other elite 1b salaries?

Pujols $22, Tex $21, Howard $23, Votto $9 (expected low) AGon $19 Prince $16 Dunn $19

Miggy is the most expensive....

Tops in our league: ARod $33, Doc $29, Manny, Crawford and Wright $27.
