I am picking at the turn in a 15 team roto league using OBP.
My strategy for my first several picks is best player available, try to rack up homers, rbi and OBP. OBP early helps absorb lower OBP guys later.
Pretty sure that one of my first two tandem picks is going to be matt holliday and would like to pair him with another high obp, 30+ homer player.
josh hamilton is a consideration if he falls, but a) will he play a whole season and b) how much will regression in the BABIP affect his overall #s?
another guy i would look at is prince-- .400 OBP and 35+ homer potential.
thoughts or suggestions on other guys I should look at?

Just go BPA. I would try and grab two different positions though.
My ideal scenario would be if Adrian Gonzalez/Carl Crawford/Chase Utley/or David Wright fell that far. If they didn't, I would look at Hamilton, ARod, and Teixeira. Matt Holliday is solid, I wouldn't blame you for taking him. I would also consider Roy Halladay, but I don't really enjoy spending either of my first two picks on pitchers.

if you are suggesting OF/IF that would be ideal. holliday is nearly a lock for a .385 OBP and 100 rbi. you can never predict injury but if hamilton falls i think i would lean holliday still due to the ABs.
for IF's, if texeira or prince fall, i think i have to take the 30-35 homers and .390 OBP so that i can take chances on lower obp's later. guys like phillips or beckham at 2b with lower OBP's or aramis at 3b.
if none of the 1b fall but hamilton is still there, then i am looking at wright, hamilton, arod, utley. i think i would lean wright even though id like more homers.
holliday/hamilton
holliday/utley
holliday/arod
holliday/wright
which is best? i really do want to establish obp early and have around 60 homers from these guys.
