I'm locked in with my six keepers.I have the third pick in the draft. These are my keepers and years left the can be kept including this year.Players drafted this year can be kept a total of four years. Miggy 1 Pujlos 2 Utley 2 Hanley 3 Wainwright 2 Felix 2 The top of the draft is heavy with Tulo, Braun Hamilton, Kemp, Arod, Jeter,Teixiera and Victorino the top hitters.Lincecum, Lester and verlander the top pitchers. Play in a standard 5x5 .12 teams. We hit 15 and pitch 10 .No bench. We have two MI. Two CI and a ULT that can be any position. Plus I still have Nelson CRuz and Bautista I am trying to trade for an upgrade in picks with no luck.Looks like I will have to drop them both next Saturday.Third base is weak after Arod. Who would you pick given what you see ?
Id say go with braun. OF is where you lack as of right now and he is the best talent out there by a lot besides maybe tulo but you dont need SS. Braun is always an elite player but he might not be there for the 3rd pick then I would take kemp or hamilton but they have risks. Hamilton has all of those injury possibilities and kemp gets too many Ks and his average is inconsistent.

I doubt Braun or Tulo will be there at three. Kemp could bounce back now that he and Rhianna are no longer. I do like Hamilton over Kemp. I have thought of maybe taking Tex . He would replace Cabrera for four years and Albert will be gone after the 2012 season.Half thought of Arod because I will need a third baseman and although hes not a steals threat anymore he still puts up nice power numbers. And I have thought of offering both Bautista and Cruz with my 3 rd overall for the 1st or 2nd overall . One of those guys might not even be looking at Braun or Tulo. Doubtful put possible. With Lincecum there as well.
I would probably go with best 3B available. It's a really shallow position this year. Maybe Arod, but remember he's getting old so see who else is out there.
I agree. But I doubt I will get Tulo or Braun with the third pick. I did just send an offer to the managers with the 1st and 2nd picks. Offered them my 3rd pick with Cruz and Bautista figuring I'm going to drop them anyway.One manager hardly ever replies to anything so these offers probaly wont happen. And they need to be done by Saturday Feb.26th. Maybe we'll see some action the last week. My question is who would take if those two are gone ?
