I was offered Josh Johnson for my Greinke in a keeper... My other pitcher I'm keeping is Lincecum.. would you trade Greinke for Johnson straight up?? THANKS! 5x5 ROTO
Keep Zack. JJ had back AND shoulder issues, which is nothing to overlook. He missed his last 5-6 starts and that is something that I don't like to see, especially when that person only hits my box score every 5-6 days. Zack hasn't had a worse year than his 2010 since 2006, so he was trending upwards in value with an off year IMO. He will get more wins and face worse offense IMO as well in the NL. If you wanna roll the dice, JJ will provide better upside, but Zack is a lot less risk and almost as good of upside.
I'd stick with Greinke. Both pitchers are elite I just feel that something is always creeping up with Johnson. Won't always be requiring surgery but something is usually up with him.
I'd make the deal. Greinke is going to be solid in Milwaukee, but I don't see him replicating his Cy Young season again. On the flip side, I could see JJ winning a Cy Young if he stays healthy. IMO, it's worth the injury risk for the potential reward he can bring you.
Greinke is solid, should benefit from the move to MIL, but won't be as good as a fully healthy JJ. If it is a H2H league, I go Greinke since I think he has an easier schedule in the playoffs (SEPT), but I could be wrong. Usually divisional games are in the last month and the NL Central is weaker hitting wise than the NL East IMO.
its really a toss up...I like Zach even though he had an off year last year, I expect a better year out of him...JJ could have the same fluke as Geinke had last yr...you just never know....its way too even to bother....I would just stick with Greinke
