Im looking to pick up a 2B with my next pick. These guys are the best of the rest. Which one of these guys are going to bounce back with the better season? Thanks
It depends on what your team needs are. A healthy Roberts can still net you a decent run total and BA, as well as 25-30 SB. Hill's average should rebound, but by how much is the question. He was prone to swinging for the fences last year and if he cuts back on that, his average will go up but perhaps at a slight cost to his HR (.260, 20 HR).
Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray
Hill will probably be back to hitting 2nd in the lineup behind speed Rajai Davis then Lind, Bautista, prolly Snider, Encarnacion (3,4,5,6) not an ultimate top 6 but a solid one, so don't say he doesn't have anyone around him because he does have guys there who can swing the lumber.
Agree on Bautista being good, but Snider is unproven and Encarnacion seems to be hit or miss.
I'd take Vlad, Derrek Lee and Mark Reynolds over Toronto's guys.

Ok Vlad being Vlad can hit a pitch half an inch from the ground, but I think he doesn't put up 2010 numbers again. Reynolds is great for power and not much else. And D Lee is coming off a really bad year (for him) and will prolly return close to normal numbers.
Now as for Toronto's guys - Is Bautista going to hit another 54 jacks??? 95% sure he is not, will he hit 35-40 I sure hope so, and I see his AVG improving a bit(few more doubles) as his eye at the plate will probably only get better. Snider is an unkown yes, but has never really been given a chance to play everyday and I think will exceed expectation in 2010, as for EE your right feast or famin but kind of like Reynolds in a sense but with a little better avg, not as many k's and a little less pop.
Besides the fact that Baltimore's rotation still sucks and will finish 5th in the division where as Toronto - will atleast be in the hunt for 2nd come mid-August, as the Yanks and Rays take a step this year and Boston prolly runs away with the division.
