Deep 15 team league, keeper auction style. Players have 3 year contracts. This trade was just proposed to me in my league.....it might give me more then enough keepers but it gives me options, before I submit keepers which is 12 of them.
I GET:
OF - D.Stubbs $2 (2) (has 2 more years left at that salary) THE PRIZE of the deal.
OF - J.Tabata $11 (2) (has 2 more years at that salary)
I TRADE AWAY: (probably only Infante or Bourjos were on my praleminary keeper list)
2B/3B/OF - O.Infante $3 (2) (has 2 more years left, getting allot of calls for him due to his eligibility)
OF - P.Bourjos $1 (2) (has 2 more years left at that salary) (I see a little of Jacoby Ellsbury in him)
SP - R.Porcello $3 (2) (has 2 more years left at that salary)
This will give me a more sur-plus of keepers but I can't miss out on a bat like Stubbs? Is all the talk regarding him "legit" Being a BuccoFan I see him allot (NL Central) but his strikeouts really concern me.....he is the "white version" of Chris Young, or better....cause he can steal more bags. Bottom line none of the guys I was moving were considered keepers for me anyways.

It's hard to say without seeing your roster, but from a pure talent/cost perspective, I think this is a great deal for you! Like you said, Stubbs at $2 for 2 years is sick, and Tabata has some upside too. Infante is a nice piece in a deep league, as are the other two but what you get back is nicer.

Good point.
Who knows what happens with everyday at-bats for Infante. the All-Star, LOL!!!

I'd do it in a second. Tabata isn't as fast as Bourjos but he'll still get you 25-35 steals and Stubbs is a fantasy stud in the making.
