Yeah so it looks like this is what I'll be going with (after realizing that Beltre was in fact taken and I missed it - stupid accents on names when searching) So I'm going with:
1B Adrian Gonzalez
2B Phillips
SS Drew
OF Choo
OF McCutchen
SP CC
Hope I get Price in my spot and then I need a decent 3B - so I'm hoping for Young (depending on where he gets traded to), Prado (multiple positions), or Aramis

I would also keep Price over Phillips.

fast dogs wrote:I like Drew, he's a good pick after the first 100 players are off the board. Price usually gets taken about the 60th spot. Drew will be around for several rounds, Price probably doesn't make it to you the first time. If you start with Price as a keeper, then you can take whoever you want first. Obviously pitchers score big in this setup, why is it you are keeping Drew who scored 200 less points than Price?
Ok I'll buy this - so then I go with
1B Adrian Gonzalez
2B Phillips
OF Choo
OF McCutchen
SP CC
SP Price
And I guess I could go either way with Phillips/Drew - but it seems that a reliable 2B is harder to find and the drop off is steeper

Sh!t - so due to yet another instance of the spreadsheet not being able to pick up special characters - it seems that AdGo is also gone of my list (my team is getting poorer by the minute)
So now it looks like I'm sitting at:
2B Phillips
OF Choo
OF McCutchen
SP CC
SP Price
Which makes me feel a bit thin - so any thoughts on where/how to shore myself up at this point?
I could take Soria and get a stud closer - or Kuo (who gets a ton of points in my league for so few innings)
Sorry for all the mistakes (trying to comb over all these rosters is a bit daunting) and appreciate the advice.

Not sure why you feel 2B is thinner SS, b/c it is actually the opposite IMO. Go with Drew

Update:
So the keepers list has finally gone up for our league and I can see who's who better (rather than just going off my own charts) - looks like Jose Reyes is also available (which I figure is a good one to lock on to) instead of Drew - it means that I have to take a flier on 2B but I think I can do ok (maybe take a flier on Hill - he has to rebound right?!?!?)
SS Reyes
OF Choo
OF McCutchen
SP CC
SP Price
RP N. Feliz (or Soria) - Feliz might end up as a started and I don't know how I feel about this
Otherwise the 1B, 2B, & 3B slots are all so shallow (from what I get to pick) I don't think it's worth wasting the early pick on them
