Posey doesn't have Uptons 40 hr/120 ceiling.
Posey also unlikely to repeat his hr/fb ratio from last year.
I like Posey, but Upton has Braun type ceiling.

BOTTOM line you can go wrong with keeping a stud like Upton, but there are more OUTFIELDERS then QUALITY CATCHERS

In 10 teams, there's a better chance you can have Carlos Santana, Mike Napoli, or Matt Wieters as fallback options. As Hootie said, Posey doesn't have the kind of ceiling Upton does, which makes Upton a better keeper option.

Does anyone really think that upton has this type of upside for this season?

Not likely quite yet. Peak years. But you said 6th keeper.

I think you have to go with Posey here. He will cement himself as the #1 catcher in fantasy after this season. I absolutely love Posey and would draft him over Kinsler and Upton without thinking twice.

Upton's the better keep for me.

Soto, Montero, Napoli, Arencibia, can also hit in the catchers spot about as well as Posey.
