It's keeper time, I need 5 (or less)

6x6 (normal 5x5 plus OPS and K/BB) H2H league. I can keep up to 5 players, if I keep less than 5 I get more draft picks. Here is my roster:

C J Mauer
1B J Votto
2B I Kinsler
SS J Keeplinger
3B D Valencia
OF A McCutcheon
OF C Beltran
OF B Zobrist
OF M Stanton
OF C Quentin
OF J Bay
OF M Ordonez

SP J Johnson
SP F Liraino
SP T Hunter
SP AJ Burnett
SP C Carpenter
SP M Scherzer
SP T Lilly
RP A Simon
RP H Bell
RP J Axford
RP H Takahashi LAA

The first 3 are easy Mauer, Votto and Kinsler. I am also considering J Johnson and Liriano but am worried about Johnson's health.

What do you all think?

Pitching is crazy deep. You could very well get Johnson and/or Lirano back in the draft.

I agree with the hitters for sure those 4 as for your 5th keeper I think its really a toss up between Johnson, Liriano and Stanton. All 3 are good young talent and in shallow keepers I always try and keep 1 stud arm - which then brings it down to Johnson and Liriano. Both have injury pasts but think Johnson is the more reliable in the better pitching environment (that being the NL).

Do you get any incentive for keeping guys who were drafted late? Like do u lose a 1st round pick this year if you keep a first rounder, but only a 20th round pick if you keep a guy you took off the WW?
If youre just keeping best available talent then i think
Kins
Mauer
Votto
McCutch
are the obv choices.
the last spot you have to decide between stanton and pitching. Do you know what other teams keepers are yet? If they are keeping lots of pitching then keep a pitcher. If you see that they are letting top end arms walk, and want to guarantee yourself some power at a position where its not abundant then stanton is a lock for 30+ hr and 85+ rbi.
And i would keep Johnson before Liriano. Not only is he being taken ~3 rounds before Liriano, but he also is projected to have a better FIP, ERA, WHIP, and HR/9.
The only thing i see decidely in Liriano's favor is a slightly higher K rate and i think both are a similar injury risk.
Also there have been rumors (unsubstantiated) floating around that Liriano will be traded, and who knows how he'd react to that if it turns out to be true. (also *if* he is traded, big IF, his most likely destination is NYY so he'd be pitching in the dreaded AL East)

please help with my draft post?
