If not, then I would do the trade. I like McCutchen. SP is deep enough that you should be able to find a SP replacement later.

I could free up my salary by cutting Zimmerman (.30) and Desmond (1.00), but with one owner that dropped his entire team and $26 to spend and another with an open SS spot and $10+ to spend, I will lose Desmond.

Lord Jbo wrote:As much as I like Andrew I wouldnt trade Verlander for him. And nice team by the way. How they heck did you get Votto, Perdoia, Longoria, C-Gone, and J. Upton in a 12 team league? You must do very well ;-D

And see if you can get Andrew without giving up Verlander. Good luck!!

I pulled the deal of Verlander for McCutchen and offered him Rasmus/Latos/Rodney for him. I hate to lose Latos, but I have solid replacement in a .10 Johnny Queto. Also, I had Votto and Longoria since they were in the minors and traded the past couple years for the other guys. Took a few years to build this team up to this level, and I'll be disappointed if I don't win this league. ;-D

Bump.

Got an interesting proposal last night from an owner and a tenative agreement with another. Here it is:

I trade Rasmus (1.90) and Latos (1.70) for Tim Lincecum (1.90) and then flip him for Hanley Ramirez (2.40). This would put me under my cap at 24.90 with a C, CI, U, RP to spend 1.10 on. Would you do this? My team would possibly look like this:

C - Buster Posey
C - OPEN
1B - Joey Votto
2B - Dustin Pedroia
SS - Hanely Ramirez
3B - Evan Longoria
CI - OPEN
MI - Ian Desmond
OF - Carlos Gonzalez
OF - Jay Bruce
OF - Justin Upton
U - Brandon Allen
U - Nelson Cruz
U - OPEN
SP - Zack Greinke
SP - Justin Verlander
SP - David Price
SP - Jordan Zimmerman
SP - Johnny Queto (on bench)
RP - Johnny Venters
RP - Jordan Walden
RP - Kensley Jansen
RP - OPEN

Thoughts? WHIR!!!

I like the trade, even if you can't get Hanley. I usually hate trading to hope to trade again but either way your team looks great.

thx for help on mine
