Entering into the 3rd year of my main keeper league.
We keep 8 players and forfeit the rd the player was drafted in. 23 Total Rounds, a FA pick up will cost a 23rd pick to keep.
Very simple. 7x7 H2H league, w/ OPS,Hits and K/9, QS being the extra cats.
Here are my options:
Pujols (1st) Fielder (2nd) Gallardo (3rd) Hamels (4th) A. Rod (5th J. Heyward (6th) Tulowitzki (8th) D. Price (14th) J. Upton (16th) C. Kershaw (18th) N. Cruz (22nd) T. Hanson (23rd) D. Pedroia (23rd) Scherzer (23rd)
I'm thinking: Pujols, Tulo, Pedroia and ARod to square out my infield, and then keep Cruz and J.Up for my outfield. Leaving me w/ 2 more spots.
Thinking of cutting Prince. I tried to move him last year w/ little luck. The issue is w/ Pujols at 1B, I have to put Prince into my UTIL spot all year. I really want to keep Kershaw too. What about Heyward. There's no "value" in the 6th rd, but he may be a player I want to hold for years.

Price, ARod, and Scherzer were my last three cuts. Couldn't bring myself to get rid of Heyward, but I wouldn't blame you if you did. The low round values are tremendous.
