Cano, CarGo, Adrian Gonzalez..who to keep? WHIR

So I have to choose my three keepers this year and I have an incredibly tough decision to make. I have Miggy, Wright, Cano, Adrian Gonzalez and Carlos Gonzalez. I'm clearly keeping Miggy. I'm also keeping Wright because of the shortage of third baseman. That leaves me with one spot and three guys I do not want to let go. I'm thinking Cano because of the lack of depth at second, I already have a first baseman and I don't know if Cargo can repeat last year. I would welcome all thoughts and will respond in kind.

Personally, I wouldn't keep Wright over any of those options. I think first rounders Miggy, Cano, and CarGo are your best bets here.

Really tough decision. I'd say Cano simply because I always get screwed out of a decent 2B in my big keeper league. Fear is the motivation behind my answer.

Yes, AGon will probably have "better numbers" than Wright, but the relative value you get from the shallow 3B positionmakes up for it--especially since you're already keeping one first basemen at that incredibly deep position.

I like Cano as well and would consider taking him over Wright, but the 2B isn't as shallow as it's been in the past.

seems like you wont be getting consensus. Personally, Cargo is one of my favs... but if you can lock up Miggy and two of the best at two of the toughest spots... id go for that. Miggy, Cano and Wright for me. (plus they have better track records while still being young)

I have a bit of worry about Adrian Gonzalez this year (probably because he's my best hitter in one of my keepers). I just don't know that he's going to go THAT crazy in the AL.

I guess you could convince me to take Wright over Cano, but it would take some doing.

Do you really think keeping AGon will get you THAT much more value than taking Dunn/Morneau/Morales/Butler several rounds into the draft? Fantasy sports isn't about pure numbers, it's about drafting and keeping relative value. Wright is significantly better than any 3B you can grab later (especially since the elite will be kept). I think Wright especially would give you a bigger boost over McGehee/Sandoval/Stewart than AGon will over the myriad of depth at 1B.

I'd have to agree with avsfan on this..i would not keep wright over some of these other guys regardless of the lack of depth at 3B. since you're keeping miggy which is a no brainer, i would opt to NOT keep adr. gonz b/c of the depth at 1b you can grab a butler-like player later on. i like Cano and CarGo as your other 2 keepers. Cano is solid in every category except steals and with the lineup around him he's a sure thing to produce. CarGo will prob not put up his 2010 #'s but his upside has too much potential to pass up for the likes of wright playing in Citi field with a team that is falling apart around him, esp if theyre looking to trade guys like reyes and beltran mid-season which is a strong possibility.
