I agree do the trade, Pagan is a throw in but Lincecum and 1st round pick, for a aging declining hitter, go for it.

I would not accept the deal.

Your hitting doesn't look to be particularly strong if you lose Arod. Yes, getting Lince would be nice at his draft price, as would getting your 1st round pick. But since you said you won't have a good draft spot, you can't bank on drafting someone like Hamilton.

I think you have more balance between hitters/pitchers if you keep Arod. Losing Arod would leave Youkilis as your best hitter, which is not so great (as said above by another poster). Lee and Billingsley form a nice foundation in a 15 team league for your SP staff. No need to add Lince.

I honestly think you can get better value if you hold onto Arod and trade him once the season starts. In your league he would still be valued as a top tier player (MDP = 16).
