Just finished Yahoo draft. 12 team, H2H. I ended up with the 1st pick. Some early reaches, and one guy took all elite pitchers until about round 8 lol.

I might dump a RP for SP. Jordan Zimmerman and Bret Cecil are the only 2 that would really interest me.

Pitching was totally screwed up thanks to the guy who grabbed like 4 closers and 4 elite starters within the first 8 rounds.

Your team can contend, but I'd be worried about OF and pitching. Although I'm a Mets fan, I'm not sure I would have taken Pelfrey over Brett Cecil. Additionally, I'd look to package Olivo and Wells for a better outfielder.

Your offense is very solid. I like it a lot. I personally don't think Vlad and Vernon will repeat what they did last year so that might hurt you. Batting average could be a problem as well. Your pitching is decent but Verlander is your only really proven guy and he rarely has a great ERA. Before last year Weaver was one of the most frustrating starters to have so I don't like him as a number 2 at all. I really like Marcum moving to the NL and Romero will probably have a similar year as last year. I never liked Sanchez but he will definitely give you k's. Pelfrey is a decent pitcher but a very bad fantasy player. I personally hate the strategy of having non-closer relievers in a head to head league. It's just completely pointless to me and I would drop them and pick up JZimm and another starter. You definitely have potential.
