First year keeper league - Setup Question

Im trying setting up a H2H Keeper League on Yahoo.
When i edit the settings do i have to specify that its a keeper league, or do i not worry about that until year 2?
Also i want to have it set up so that for each player you keep, you lose a draft pick for the round your keeper was picked in.
Do i have to do this manually before the draft each year or is there a way to set this up for Yahoo to do it automatically?

Also im leaning towards 4 mandatory Keepers per team. Any reason to go with more/less?

You do not have to specify it this year. Next year when you create the league again it will ask if you want to copy the settings from a previous year and also if you want to send an email to the previous GM's to invite them to next years league.

In the commish tools section you will be able to assign keepers.

We do a 10 Team league, where each GM has to keep 8 keepers. We have a 22 Man Roster, so each draft is 14 rounds. We do 7X7 catagories

Next year when you assign keepers I recommend that you make it an even number of keepers. We do it as the last place team gets the first pick, so if you do even number of keepers it is easier to set up the draft the next year.
