Ranking 2011 Draft in Top 50

Postby RugbyD » Thu Feb 10, 2011 5:31 pm

Where do you think the folowing top prospects from the upcoming draft would show up if they qualified for MiLB top-50 lists?

Rendon
Springer
Starling (assuming baseball career)
Cole
Purke
Gray
Jungman

I remember Klaw saying he'd put Rendon in his top 10, but that's my only point of reference.

As things stand right now, I personally only see Rendon, Cole, and Purke as lock Top 50 prospects.

Rendon - 10-15 range (2nd best 3B)
Cole - 15-20 range (Bigger than Purke)
Purke - 20-25 range (I personally like him better than Cole)
Springer - Top 50 range
Starling - Top 50 range

Keep in mind that offensive prospects are likely going to rank higher in fantasy lists than actual lists.
