You're pretty deep here, which would lead me to maybe go off the board a little bit.
I'd take Pena and Pagan for sure. I like Pena for a decent bounceback this year going to the NL, and with Pagan, I think someone is always going to want speed, so he's a decent trade chip if nothing else.
My third choice...I suppose I'd go with Guthrie but I'm not overly swayed by anyone.
Pagan and Fowler definitely as they have the most value, even if you don't need them. The third is a tossup, but I'd lean towards League or Pena. Pena should bounce back somewhat, but you still pretty much know what to expect. The only reason I mention League is none of the other guys stick out and at some point he could work his way into a closer gig. He has strong skills and could thrive in the late innings.
I'd go with Guthrie and Pena for sure and then choose who you like between Pagan, who has lower upside, but is more safe, and Fowler, who is less safe, but has bigger upside. I'd go with Pagan... You have some somewhat risky propositions already on your team.
Thank you to soty for hooking me up with another awesome sig!
I'd take Guthrie, a bounceback year from Lee and Bradon League as I think he'll be the closer before the All-Star break.
