Baring a trade which I will be trying to make who would you take as my 8 keepers? I am leaning towards Santana, Cabrera, Pedroia, Longoria, Ramirez, Choo, Stanton and Gallardo. Then possibly trying to trade Choo/Buchholz for OF upgrade.

I like your choices, but would instead make choo and ANY pitcher available for an OF upgrade. Whether you keep Gallardo or Bucholz for instance is virtually flipping a coin. Go for the upgrade and just see what the pitching gods provide you. Please help with mine... viewtopic.php?t=421554

Who is the second Santana? I only see one listed.

Sorry I meant to type Santana(C) and Stanton(OF). I think that Stanton would be a better choice than Upton no? Stanton is young, raw power while B.J. is inconsistent. I thought about keeping both SPs, but that would mean cutting Stanton and I am not so sure I want to do that. What I would love to do is trade one of the SPs and Choo for a stud OF.

I like the first five and then i would keep Santana, Stanton and Gallardo. Hard to give up on Upton but he has been flirting with a breakout for a number of years. Starting to wonder if it will ever come.

What type of OF do you think I can get with moving Choo/Buchholz? I am also considering keeping Choo and offering Stanton/Buchholz to a team rebuilding for one of their studs. Thoughts.
