im in a $$ dynasty league going into out 4th year, 12 teams hth 6x6 (ops/hld)...our prospects can be kept in our "minors" indefinitely, but once they are promoted they can't be sent back down...im looking to trade for a strong #2 sp to go with felix, what's it going to take to land ubaldo or price?...one owner has both these guys and is looking for a bat, is carlos quentin+clayton richard+derek holland a fair offer?...he also has good bats in his minors but is lacking in pitching prospects

I like both Ubaldo and Price, but both are likely overvalued in most leagues due to their good fortune in 2011. I don't expect either will come close to matching their 2010 ERA in 2011. Both make good long-term investments (at least as far as SP go) in a keeper league, but this is not the right time to buy. Looking for a more affordable #2? Try Chad Billingsley, Max Scherzer, or Tommy Hanson. I'd rather pay for Zack Greinke than either Price or Ubaldo.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.
