Need one more keeper

Postby Padres Fan » Mon Feb 07, 2011 11:49 pm

Hello it's a 10 team ESPN Roto league standard 5x5 scoring, Auction draft with a $260 cap

Here is my 6 keepers with 2011 keeper price
Josh Hamilton $13
Mike Stanton $8
Colby Rasmus $1
Jon Lester $10
David Price $1
Neftali Feliz $1

I need one more keeper, Morneau could be a shoo in, but injury and price is a concern

Others I can keep with 2011 Keeper value
Jered Weaver $11
Ricky Nolasco $3
Drew Stubbs $1
Billy Butler $9
Nick Markakis $6
Stephen Drew $4
Justin Morneau $20
Kurt Suzuki $6

Weaver at $11 is more than reasonable, even though I'd be tempted to keep Stubbs for a buck. I'd go with Weaver regardless.

Stubbs, he could go 20/30.

I think I would keep Stubbs. Weaver is a great deal at $11 as well. I would consider keeping Weaver over Feliz, just not a fan of keeping RP even at that price.

can't tell you how many times I put an X for the last letter on Feliz the first time typing.
Either choice is a great value, with 3 OF already I might go with the SP

Morneau at that price is too risky. One good knock to the head and his career could be over. I would recommend keeping Stephen Drew at $4 - check out my recently posted article for more analysis on why 2011 might just be Drew's breakout season.

I say Weaver, I have him projected at $28-$30. Stubbs is solid at $1 and projected at $15. Weaver is becoming a top tier SP and will provide a quality SP, try to pick up Stubbs for $15 at auction.

Where you getting these numbers at?
Stubbs earned $18 last year, Weaver $17.
I see Stubbs improving a bit.
