Ubaldo Jimenez Trade possibilities

Postby Mateo de Lorenzo » Mon Feb 07, 2011 6:26 am

So, I have been offered a few trades for Ubaldo Jimenez in my 5x5 roto keeper league. I am not as high on Ubaldo as others, so I am open to trading him but want to get the best value i can. We haven't held our draft for 2011 yet, so the number in parenthesis is the draft pick round I would lose for the respective player.

Ubaldo Jimenez (15) for Daniel Hudson (20) and Ben Zobrist (17)
Ubaldo Jimenez (15) for Matt Holliday (1)
Ubaldo Jimenez (15) for Josh Hamilton (4)

The only potentially acquired player that I would not have the option to hold onto longer then the 2011 season is Ben Zobrist. All of the others I could sign to a longer deal.

I get the overall number one pick in this years draft so I am trying to avoid keeping a player that will cost me that pick. I think I can draft someone better then Holliday in the first round.

Thanks for any and all input. ;-D

Hamilton deal is the best value.

I agree, Hamilton is the best value out there. I'd be hard-pressed to give up Ubaldo at 15, though.

I wouldn't deal him. Hamilton is the best value of the players being offered but Jimenez is easily the best value of everyone.
