Need help with making a schedule

the basics:
3 divisions, 4 teams
22 weeks

Need to come up with a schedule that each team would play thier division foes 3 times, which would be 9 divsion games. Then with the remaining 13 games, they would play 5 of the remaining 8 teams twice, and then the other 3 just once.

Attention math whizes, I have made it close to finishing a schedule, is there some formula or excel type format that can help me in creating this schedule?

Any help would be appreciated.

It has a schedule for 12 teams, 11 weeks. Double that schedule for 22. Everyone plays all other teams twice.

They could all just play each team twice, but then the divisions really wouldn't matter. For the divisions to matter, you could have each team play every team in its division three times, the 8 teams in the other divisions once, and then 5 more games against teams in other divisions that they would play twice. You could also have it so that each team has a rival within their division that they play a fourth time and then it would only be 4 extra games outside the division.

If you want, I can make you a schedule that would cover 20 weeks. Each team would play their own division four times and the other two divisions once. That would give you 20 weeks. That is as close to a 22 week schedule that you can come and have it where the divisions play each other more. == List the three divisions and the names of the teams that are in each one. I will take care of it.
