I am going to go the unconventional route and say Howard. He is on the wrong side of 30 and if you take a look at his year by year stats, they have been heading south for a couple of years now. The only positive is his K rate which has gotten better. I wouldn't be surprised if Howard becomes more like David Ortiz, useful but not the guy he once was.

I'll take the two young, very talented hitters over the older player that most agree won't age well. The pitchers by the way are easy keepers.

I'll say Bruce. It's too early to worry about significant age related decline for Howard. 31 isn't old for baseball and he got a late start to his MLB career.

I like Bruce this year. I think he could easily be a top 20 outfielder. But you have to go with the other four guys over him. He'll likely be available for you to grab during the draft if you really want him while the other 4 guys would be snapped up by whoever could get to them first.

It depends on the keeper structure of your league, if the rest of your league appears to be keeping their power hitting corner IF's I'd say you should follow suit and hang on to Howard, a slugging OFer is easier to come by. If you're looking long term Bruce is a better option his fantasy performance is trending upward where as Howards is most definitely declining.

Plus OF doesn't have the depth most people think it does. I think you could find a 1B that can replace Howards numbers more readily than you can find someone who could replace Bruce.
