Anyone have strong opinions on where he is falling in preseason rankings. I know he is a future ace, but top 10 this year? Just wondering bc he is a potential keeper and I am not convinced he should be ahead of some of the starters where he is slotted.

would depends on your league, and who your other potential keepers where, I could see hime go top 10 in pitchers, his age, pedigree and ballpark he plays in are starting to favor him at this stage.

help with mine?

In most ranking I've seen he is just outside the top ten, and he is one of my favorite targets because of that. Get top ten talent for 5/6 round pick

I have him 10-15ish for 2011. His control is the main thing holding him back, and he was improving in that category going late into games in the 2H last year. Once he gets that figured out, watch out...

Overall, it's tough to find a better longterm SP keeper than Kershaw

Kershaw's BB/9 lowered by more than a full walk last year. He might have his control hiccups, but granted he's contained that to the big inning rather than the walks persisting as a recurring issue. I'd say he's worth the top 10 ranking, top 15 at least.

I agree. He is coming into his own and could any day become the best SP in the league.
