I'm in a keeper league where we keep 7 plus up to 5 on our minor league bench. It's a 5x5 roto scoring league. 12 teams. I've posted my lineup below.
Are any of the following guys worth dealing Jiminez for?
Uggla Weeks Alexei Ramirez McCutcheon J. Upton Jeter
Is it worth considering keeping A. Hill or Konerko rather than Jiminez or Hamels since pitching is pretty deep this year and hitting doesn't seem to be as deep? We keep 7 each year. I was planning to keep the first 7 right now.
My team: Braun Wright Howard Kemp Cliff Lee Posey Jiminez Hamels Hill Marmol Konerko K. Suzuki Span G. Sanchez As. Cabrera Bourn B. Anderson C. Lewis Minor bench: Fowler, Arencibia, Ianetta, C. Kelly, J. Decker
I would get Upton for him, I like Jimeniz, but he is a pitcher and will be more prone to injuries and lose of stuff, and also he does play in colorado which can really screw a pitcher up, if I can get Upton for for then go for it, otherwise your keepers are correct
I would keep your first five plus McCutchen and Justin Upton. I like Ubaldo, but I think his second half was indicative of him regressing a bit. He's a top pitching talent, but I'd say you should keep your two most promising bats remaining.

This was my initial reaction as well, but I think leaving off Posey could be a mistake. I would probably keep Posey so that I wouldn't have to worry about drafting a C (unless its a 2 C league). Then I would either keep Hamels, or trade Jiminez for McCutchen/Upton.
If you can find a team who does not have any good SPs to keep, I'd make an offer of Hamels and Jiminez for a good power hitter as your 7th keeper.
