I'm in a 12-team mixed roto league, $260 cap. We start 11 hitters (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, 4 OFs and UT) and 9 pitchers. I have Mike Napoli ($6 salary for 2011) and Kurt Suzuki ($2 salary). Being that we only start 1 catcher, we don't have scarcity, but McCann, Posey and Mauer will be kept.
V-Mart will be overpaid because we have a Tigers fan in our league. Should I keep one of them? I like Napoli but he's not a shoo-in to play daily.
I will gladly help in return.

I like either one at their price. I think it depends on what you are already keeping. Do you have a couple extra bucks to keep Napoli or are you a little strapped for cash at which point I would keep Suzuki.

My keepers aren't due for 3 more weeks, but i am going to keep Max Scherzer ($5), Mat Latos ($10), Hanley Ramirez ($32), Kelly Johnson ($7), Martin Prado ($5) so far. I can keep up to 10 players.

I think you got to keep both. Napoli on power potential and Suzuki on everything else. $2 is a great deal for Kurt. People are bullish on OAK but Zuk is the real deal and he may give you 15/10 which is worth more than $2.

Thanks for your reply! I helped you out as well. My league is a 1 Catcher league. Do you think I should expend 2 precious keeper slots with catchers when I only need one?
