I make my gf use a different browser on my computer so she won't log me out of everything. It's so logical...

That's what I did with my wife. I use FF and I installed Chrome for her. Lately, FF is really lagging while Chrome is lightning fast. I don't know what's going on. This PC is fairly new and used to rock on FF. I have never looked at 1 second of porn on it, either. Seriously. It seems like every day is like this to keep FF moving.......SCAN - DEFRAG - REBOOT. I need to do this once daily to keep things "normal". I'm ready to switch over to Chrome and let the wife deal with FF.

for the record. i am back on chrome as firefox updated itself, and then went batshit crazy on me again.

2012 really might be the end of the world

So it's not exactly FF v Chrome, but the eventual death of IE6 will be a great day in modern history. Followed closely by the eventual death of IE7. I estimate that IE6 has probably cost me a solid 6 months of my life in trying to design for its retarded quirks.
