This is an 18 team mixed league 5x5 roto league. I have the fifth overall pick in the draft. I've had Utley in this league for the past 3 years, and he helped me to win league championships in 2 of those 3 years.

Here are some of the top players that will be available in the draft:

Pujols
Braun
Longoria
Teixeira
Utley
Mauer
Ryan Zimmerman
ARod
Fielder
Pedroia
Bautista
Cliff Lee
Reyes
Youkilis
Josh Johnson
Sabathia
Kinsler
Ichiro

I expect Pujols, Braun, and Longoria to all be gone before I pick. Beyond that, I have no idea. I think the next two best players are probably Utley and Zimmerman, but I am not sure. I am not a fan of Teixeira's slumps or ARod's age and injuries. I THINK that Utley is the guy I need to target, but his injuries the past couple of years have me worried.

My keepers are Carlos Santana, Carlos Gonzalez, Kendry Morales, and 4 pitchers. I don't want a pitcher with my first pick

Any thoughts appreciated.

I would probably go Zimmerman, Utley and Tex. Mauer could be a pretty good pick as well since this is an 18 team league. Not as big a fan of Utley as I was a few years ago and worry that he is only going to be heading south either because of injuries or just getting older. But Zimmerman would be my first choice.

I always liked rewarding guys who helped me win with another contract. Utley if he's there and Teix or Zimm if he's taken. I like Utley to come back with a big year
