My new Prospects would look like: +prospects in trade and: Edward Salcedo SS ATL Dustin Ackley 1B SEA Josh Bell 3B BAL Arodys Viscaino P ATL Aaron Crow P KC (that's who I have also along with the promoted Alvarez and Santana)
I wouldn't dream of trading two sure things to produce now and in the long term, let alone two top 10 studs... for a bumper crop of highly touted prospects. You never know how those prospects are going to pan out.
Absolutely not. Not only are Longoria and Braun top 10 guys (which generally should only be traded for top 10 guys) but they are both still young and in their prime. I could maybe see doing this if you had Arod and Utley because you know they will be on the down swing of their careers. But of the guys you are getting only a couple are legitimate star prospects. Which means more likely you are going to end up with a bunch of solid major league players. Plus you would have to give up 2-3 years to even see the fruits of this trade.

Definitely keep Braun and Longoria.
We will know !
I wouldn' even have posted this question. Because you are going to get a bunch of people including me that think you would be crazy to even consider this deal. Not crapping on you because I live by this rule. If I don't know the answer it isn't a stupid question.Unless you have never seen or thrown a baseball. Please don't do this trade.
If you're an actual MLB GM, I might...might consider this trade. In fantasy ball however, Braun and Longoria are the types of players you build your team around, the other prospects are gambles.
