Thanks for the info. I do have one question. "Minor Leaue Eligibility". Is this where you have the option to only have the players on the 25 man MLB active roster in your player pool? == One more thing. I have been to Fantrax and I do not see a Message Board like ESPN where guys are asking to be in leagues or wanting guys to join leagues. Do they have that? Thanks,

I'm not using the Minor League Eligibility option, but it has to do with restrictions on which players can be placed into the minor league slots, based on 2 options: their age or their service time in the MLB in # of games played.
(Age range from 16-30 and game played range from 1-400)

Each league has it's own message board, but Fantrax as a whole also has a forum. So I would suppose in the forum area is where you could recruit.

I just checked.... in the forum, there is a thread for owners looking for leagues and leagues looking for owners.

I am strongly considering moving to Fantrax next year. I investigated the league this year but it seems they are still building a lot of the features. I will probably have more questions for you as the season passes. Thanks for the info so far.

Can't blame you for not wanting to switch at this point... the season is only a week away.
I'm not sure what you're using now, but I think I've seen you say Yahoo? I'd had enough of CBS so I was willing to pull the plug even though it was late (just 8 or 9 days ago).

Yes, fantrax is certainly still working on adding features, being a new server. They have a ton now, but they of course have room for improvement. On the positive side, they are continually improving. I'm sure by this time next year they'll be that much better.

But if you have any more questions just let me know. I'll do what I can to keep you posted.

they never did get head to head most categories implemented, glad I backed out of their fee features or I would have been pissed.
Loved the site, but without that had to move back to ESPN

Fantasy teams complete against each other 1-on-1 and receive a Win, Loss or Tie each Scoring Period, depending on which team leads in more scoring categories.
