Help choose my last 2 keepers.

Assume standard 5x5 league with 16 teams and 5 keepers:

I will keep: Youkilis, A-Rod, Lester

My choices for my last 2 keepers are: Hanson, Greinke, Alex Rios, Martin Prado, Jaun Pierre

I'm leaning toward Rios and Greinke for my last 2, but I really like Hanson and may want him over Greinke.

Hanson's good and may be a future ace, but Greinke is an established ace on a great team.

Hanson is a great young pitcher, but I agree you should go with Rios and Greinke.

I like Prado's multi-position eligibility at IF positions. There will be plenty of Rios-type OF's available in your draft.

I would rather have Prado over Rios. I have little faith in Rios having a season like last. I do like Hanson though and in a draft would probably take Hanson over Prado.

I would agree with that too Maud. In this situation though I wouldn't go into a draft with 3 of 5 keepers being SP.

Sounds like the makings for a potential trade? Should be able to package Hanson with Prado for an upgrade I would think.

I get to keep 5 players. That is all. There is no cost associated with players.

I tried to make several trades of my keepers at the end of the season, but no one was interested. Which was really frustrating. The rules stipulate that all offseason trades be X number of players for X number of players where both sides are required to keep the players received (I know, the X for X players thing makes no sense).

My logic was that 2B is actually fairly deep this year (all top 10 2B are good) and players like Gordon Beckham (a top 15 2B?) have ADP just as late as the top 40 OF. So am I better off with 3 top 35 OF and a Gordon Beckham, or a top 10 2B and one OF outside the top 40 OF? I'm not sure if there is any difference, so I'll stick with the guy that is more likely to give me better numbers (read: completely excluding position and position scarcity), Alex Rios. I hope that makes sense

Rios and Greinke for me.

Perhaps it's Rios' streaky nature that's irksome, but I wouldn't mind keeping him when he's dab smack in a potent lineup, favorable ballpark, and his base stealing chances shouldn't change drastically.

I prefer Greinke over Hanson as well.
