The government of Col. Moammar Gadhafi hasn't destroyed significant stockpiles of mustard gas and other chemical-weapons agents, raising fears in Washington about what could happen to them—and whether they may be used—as Libya slides further into chaos.

Tripoli also maintains control of aging Scud B missiles, U.S. officials said, as well as 1,000 metric tons of uranium yellowcake and vast amounts of conventional weapons that Col. Gadhafi has channeled in the past to militants operating in countries like Sudan and Chad.

reminds me of the Dave Chapelle Black Bush skit :-b

(CBS/AP) BENGHAZI, Libya - Leader Muammar Qaddafi says al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden is behind the uprising in Libya and al Qaeda followers give young Libyans hallucinogenic pills in their coffee to get them to revolt.

How can people not want this guy around? :-b

I've seen at least three different spellings of his name in various official sources. If we can't even agree on that, how are we going to solve the nation's fiscal crisis?

Because of difficulties in transliteration from Arabic to English, we have to approximate spelling in a lot of things. That's why you see Osama bin Laden, Usama bin Laden, Usama bin Ladin, etc. There's 112 acceptable variations in Gaddafi's name due to different transliteration methods and regional dialects.
