A Day That Will Live in Trade Infamy WHIR

Postby KSig24 » Tue Feb 01, 2011 2:05 pm

Ok fellas, yesterday I completed two major trades in my keeper league.

David Wright and an 11th rounder for my Kevin Youkilis and 6th rounder (1st keeper).

Andrew McCutchen, Ian Kinsler, 7th rounder and 11th rounder for my Adam Dunn, Jose Bautista, 3rd rounder and 15th rounder.

My keepers now in a 12 team 5x5, r, hr, rbi, sb, obp/w, era, k, sv, whip

Utley
J. Upton
Holliday
King Feilx
McCutchen
Wright
Kinsler
Alvarez

How did I do? WHIR as always!

I like it. You got younger shedding excess talent for elite players. If you draft well, you will barely notice the fact that you lost a few positions in the draft. Good work. ;-D

Busy day! Without knowing more details, it's truly hard to say what the impact of these trades is. How many keepers do you get? Do you have to give up picks to keep players? Regardless, you indeed got younger, which is a good thing in a keeper league. Overall, it looks like your keepers address some relatively thin positions. I like where you're going.

I like it. You got the best players in both deals. You lost some depth in the draft but with a strong draft you should be fine.
