Would you do this deal?

I've put up a trade for his 2B Dan Uggla ATL ($12), OF Delmon Young MIN ($15), and top pitching prospect Julio Teheran ATL for my David Price TB ($10) and Brandon Phillips CIN ($21). I've been trying to move Phillips based on his reletively high price tag where I feel he'll be pressed to meet his pricetag. I like Price alot and love his low cost but based on his weak bullpen wins will be harder to come by plus he threw 70 more innings then in '09. The team is not quit as good with the loss of Crawford and I do not think he'll reach last years numbers. Don't get me wrong as I know he's a steal at $10 and I do like him.

On the other side Uggla at $12 is a monster and Young broke out last year at 25 years old and could be a top 15 outfielder while Teheran is being called "the next Price." Also - I'll be able to keep Cahill OAK at $15 if I choose, saving a few bucks with this deal.

Is this a good deal for me?

Uggla at $12 is decent value. I don't like Young at $15. He could exceed that or he could regress but at $15 he is not that much of a value IMO. I love Price at $10 and I wouldn't worry about a bullpen, RP is up and down year to year so no real idea how good of a bullpen they will have.

I am ok with this deal. I prefer the Price side a little more because he is the better player at a great price. The other side is fine and you get a nice pitching prospect in Teheran but it doesn't seem like you save enough money to really win in this deal.

Agree with MaudDib, Delmon Young at 15 is over-priced. If you can keep Phillips for $21 this year, I'd ride him one more year then toss him back. Phillips isn't sexy, but he's relatively safe. Uggla has a possibility to be an AVG drain, and his average should come down some. Uggla's BABIP was high last year. Granted, that stat can't be taken in a vacuum. Uggla did cut down on his K rate, and hit more LDs and GBs.
However, I think the biggest game changer for me is Price at $10. That's solid.

I would keep Phillips and Price. Uggla is a nice value at $12, Price is a better one at $10, and I'll agree that Delmon's price seems a bit steep. Phillips at $21 seems about right and I believe he's a reasonable bet for 20 HR, 20 SB, 100 R, and .270 average.
