I bought a 46" toshiba plasma about a year ago. I have no burn in issues and my TV is the absolute bomb. I think the remote is sweet and it even makes a nice soothing sound when yu turn it on or off. it's the greatest TV ever as far as I'm concerned.

other than that stuff, it all right.

Do any TV's come with a way to view a guide such as the way you can with a comcast box? That would be great.

If you have basic cable or an antenna running into an HDTV I think you'd get a guide or at least program info when going to the channel. Some TVs have inputs for cable cards but I don't think that you'd be able to get an on screen guide with a cable card. I might be wrong there.

My roommate and sister both have Vizios and the viewing angles leave a lot to be desired.

as i understand it, there isn't a whole lot of diff between 1080i and 1080p when you are talking about a set under 50".

can someone confirm or deny that?
