Only Strasburg if you can keep players indefinitely. If you have limited years or increasing salaries, you could lose him. You definitely have the core for a championship run, so I would try to load up for a win, this year. If a lot of SP are kept and you don't wanna hold SS, then Bucholz.
Sizemore is definitely a good risk/reward pick. I think I can get him back in the draft though.
If an OF I would think Victorino. If a SP I think Cain or Buccholz. Or a MI, Beckham.
Beckham is intriguing, but I am not sure if he is worthy keeper. I could see 15/15 from him, which is not too shabby from 2B, but may not be keeper worth. Victorino should put up 15/30, but would be my 3rd OF. Cain and Buchholz are both interesting, but pitching is fairly deep, with some solid late options. Sizemore could bounce back in a big way, but I think he will land somewhere less than 20/20.
1. Evan Longoria 2. Adrian Gonzalez 3. Prince Fielder 4. Andrew McCutchen 5. Clayton Kershaw 6. Matt Cain 7. Matt Wieters 8. Stephen Strasburg
I don't think you can let Strasburg go in a keeper league. He was the best pitcher in baseball last year and could be even better with some seasoning. I'm not in love with Cain, but he's a dependable SP who will get you good ratios and strong K totals.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.

How come no Stanton? His value is huge in keepers. I can't get him.

Interesting. If i was drafting, given the choices, i would go Sizemore, Strasburg, Beckham. But i'm big on youth in keepers. Cain and Buchholz are nice sp, but i expect both to regress some given their other numbers. If you pass on Sizemore, i would go SS or Beckham.

It looks like it comes down to Sizemore or Strasburg.
Both are risky, and Strasburg will do nothing to help me this year (but in the future = money).
Sizemore should approach 20/20, but nothing is guaranteed coming off microfracture surgery.
Any more thoughts or suggestions?
There is also Beckham, but I am not sure what to expect from him. 15/10 with a good average isn't too shabby for a 2B, probably not top 10, but close. And he does have upside.
I am trying to make moves, but people don't want to deal their studs for a few additional keepers, so it looks like I will have to make a decision.
