Chris Sale: Starter or Closer in 2011

Postby Mr. T » Sat Jan 22, 2011 3:06 pm

If Chris Sale is named the closer for the Sox, How far up the rankings does he go. He seems to be one of the best young pitchers in baseball. It doesn't seem like there is going to be a spot for him in the rotation this year, although I think he will be a good starting pitcher sooner than later. He had a nice K/BB last year. Could he be this years Neftali Feliz? Even if he makes the rotation this year he will put up some nice K's and Wins for a RP.

I agree with the Neftali comparison. I'd give him about a 60% chance at the closer's role and someone to keep a close eye on in my fantasy drafts.
