I know Ike Davis graduated last season, but technically so did Smoak.

To me, there's no reason Davis can't become Richie Sexson.

I thought this would be of interest on Singleton:

Singleton isn't going to reach the majors anytime soon, but after his impressive showing at Class A Lakewood, Baseball America named the former eighth-round pick the top prospect in the South Atlantic League last season. Singleton has a good batting eye and emerging power, but with Ryan Howard locked up long-term at the major league level, the 19-year-old's future may be in left field, where the Phillies plan to move him in 2011. Singleton is worth owning in long-term keeper leagues because of his potential, but owners in seasonal formats need only remember his name for now. (Updated 1/5/11)

This list is designed for the best 1B prospects, not particularly for this year only. I agree that Belt and Freeman should be above Hosmer, but Hosmer his a big league bat and if I had protection at 1B he'd be 2nd off my board after Belt. I like Freeman, but I see him posting similar numbers to Butler (plus plus in all categories except power).

Singleton needs to be on this list then because he's better than probably half the list imo.

I would agree with that. Long term I still only see Hosmer, Singleton and maybe Belt as top tier 1B. I don't see Freeman having enough power and most of the other guys I am just not confident in.

I know there are a lot of things that can still happen (Pedro moving to 1B, Smoak able to hit ML pitching or Butler hitting those doubles for HR) but the future of 1B right now looks a little weak.

I keep forgetting about Montero.

Hosmer, Montero and Singleton and maybe Belt.

Rizzo is tearing it up and he could be an interesting guy to watch. I don't like the ballpark but if he can get close to what AGone did, well he might make this list a little more interesting.
