Spring Training is getting closer and the cheat sheets are starting to come together nicely. Check back for more updates in the coming weeks.

What can I say? The fantasy bug got me early this year and I couldn't wait to get started on my 2011 lists.

Keep in mind this is still January so these rankings are far from perfect. Certainly a lot of tweaks will be done in the next two months, especially once Spring Training opens up.

It's not so much that I'm down on him as it is there is a wealth of good players at his level or higher at 3B. If I were to do a quick and dirty set of tiers it'd probably look like this.

I'd have bumped AG up a couple spots @ 1st base but I thought the rankings were very good
Does Walker even qualify at 3rd next year? I'd put Youk in there maybe just because we know he'll be elig there soon enuf & Walker prob won't play there anymore & shouldn't be elig there in too many formats right now

I go by Yahoo's eligibility requirements (10 gp or 5 gs). Walker started 5 games at 3B which is just enough for him to keep 3B elig. this season on Yahoo.

Morrow at 54 on SP is pretty low i would draft him there all day everyday

That's the beautiful part about SP this year... I think I'm going to be more than happy assembling my rotation from just about any group between 30 and 60. Old guys nobody trusts anymore, young guys who haven't proven it yet... So many good arms out there with upside.

Replacement level starters are going to be a dime-a-dozen this season.

Hellickson at 38 that's bold. The kid has a talent but I have trouble drafting a rookie pitcher who pitches in the AL east that high.

I was thinking the same thing. I like Bumgarner a little better. Hmm... I smell a poll...
