I'm one of two teams in an expansion draft. Existing team protects were posted today. At most, one unprotected player per existing team may be selected, and I'd love to get the Cafe's help.
Want to help? Pick the best player from each group below, and put them in an overall ranking from 1-10.

Thanks guys. Kind of a weird draft, but I ended up with Verlander, Young, Rasmus, Ramirez & Brett Lawrie (didn't list him, but decided I'd rather roll the dice on a rookie than take Cordero, Tim Hudson or Suzuki).
Now it's phase two: rookie and minor league draft. Here I'm a bit more out of my element, as I've never played in a league with a minor league before. Same drill as before. Pick one from each team and rank them. Thanks, all help is really appreciated!
Team 1: P. Aumont Friedrich Jarrod Parker Carlos Peguero Jared Goedert Wilmer Flores Michael Taylor Brett Jackson
Team 2: Jarrod Dyson J. Singleton Z. Britton Matt Moore
Team 3: Adam Miller Beau Mills
Team 4: Tyler Flowers Alex Liddi Casper Wells Eduardo Sanchez
Team 5: n/a
Team 6: Tim Beckham Ryan Westmoreland Josh Sale
Team 7: Karsten Whitson
Team 8: Josh Bell Lonnie Chisenhall Josh Vitters Jeff Decker
Team 9: Tim Alderson Michael Bowden Anthony Ranaudo
Team 10: Bryce Harper Austin Romine Chris Tillman Michael Ynoa Dylan Covey
I have the first pick, and I'm inclined to take Harper. But that's partly because I'm clueless and he's famous. IF there are other minor leaguers not listed that you think I should consider let me know. Many are probably protected and on roster, but you never know ...

Some difficult choices. First, given that saves and holds are equal, I pick no closers. You need to pick Beltre and A. Ramirez as they are the only two players your being offered at shallow positions. I like Bruce and Rasmus and high upside players. The really tough choices are Cain or Rios and Wieters or Anderson. I like Bryce Harper. You'll have to sit on him for a year, both worth it as I the rest of team 10 choices are only so-so.

I wanted to revisit this thread to thank everyone again who helped me out with this draft and other questions I've posted about this league. It's been a huge help. I'm psyched about this league, but it's a challenge. Full of competitive players who know the minor leagues way better than I do, and have been stocking up for years. Lots of good talent was protected and stashed away on rosters.
Just in case anyone's interested, I thought I'd show you all what I ended up with. I did a lot of wheeling and dealing, trying to put together a team that could give me a shot at competing this year, but also one with young talent I can (hopefully) build on.
Players with a DEV (developmental) next to their name cost picks counting from the end of the draft, otherwise players cost a pick counting from the beginning of the draft. You have to keep at least three non-DEV players.
Oh, and Harper was not available. That was a typo. Too bad for me.
My team:
Verlander C.B. Young A. Ramirez J. Bruce ------ C. Rasmus (DEV) W. Davis (DEV) J. Zimmerman (DEV) D. Jennings (DEV) M. Moore (DEV) W. Ramos (DEV) B. Lawrie (DEV) D. Viciedo (DEV) J. Sale (DEV) A. Liddi (DEV) M. Bowden (DEV)
Wish me luck!
