I love where you can draft Broxton & Valverde in mock drafts right now.

I can't imagine their MDPs holding but I'll be drafting Valverde on every team if he's anywhere close to a bargain, I love my closers with 100% job security, it's more important than actual talent.

Well, Broxton was removed last year and theres no guaranty that he'll be named closer at the start of the season.
Kuo was solid as his replacement, so Im not sure if Broxton is a solid option at this point.
But I would take a chance on him, that late.
Valverde's low position must be a joke. I guess its safe to say he wont stay there.

Oh, and Thank you Havok for the Closer Thread. ;-D ;-D ;-D

I agree that this is probably the reason he's so low. It should be interesting how LA's bullpen roles play out as April approaches.

Agreed. He's a risk but, right now, he's going in the 17th round and that's a risk I'd be willing to take.

I see no reason why Jordan Walden doesn't take over the closer role for the Angels quickly. Fernando Rodney is terrible as a closer and probably terrible as a pitcher in general. Basically he sucks, and the Angels have nothing else after him, Scott Downs is a possibility I suppose but he is a lefty and lefty closers are never a good idea. Walden is the one to watch this season, he throws 100mph and he's super cute.
