Do you guys think the auction values listed are a good to draft with? I did a yahoo mock auction using the values from this report and every single average value on yahoo is way higher. I ended up passing on pretty much every top-4 round talent cause they seemed too expensive.

It's only a rough estimate based entirely on draft position, which isn't the only (and probably not the best) way to value players. I would suggest also running your league specifics into last player picked and using those values as a guide as well.

In the end though, auction values may be quite different, especially if participants overbid on superstars. I'd be curious about the team you were able to get. Although you may not have a superstar, perhaps your roster is more balanced than others because you were able to draft at or below market value.

My highest payed player ended up being Morneau. At that point, i felt like i should have maybe overpayed a little bit on a true stud, because i realized i was gonna have a ton of money left to spend on pitching. So my team was all upside guys and solid pitchers. Morneau $26, Rios $24, Bruce $24, Prado $17, Stubbs $14, Chris Young $11, Ellsbury $14, Granderson $8, Stephen Drew $8, Montero $5, Sandoval $8. My staff consisted of Weaver $17, Liriano $15, Haren $17, Marcum $8, Morrow $7, B. Anderson $11, Putz $5, Bailey $8.

Hey Rooks! I know that you said the next update will be this Saturday 3/19 but do you think that you will do one more update before my draft on Saturday 3/26? I figure that Friday 3/25 will probably start the last official weekend of drafts before opening day & there should be a decent amount of movement in the next 2 weeks with all of the position battles being solved. Is it safe to assume that 3/25 will be the final update?

P.S. I will be sending my donation at the end of the month. Thanks again for all of your hard work!

Does the MDP update only count where players have been drafted since the last update...or do all mock drafts that have been done all year still affect the MDPs?
