What do you want the magazines for? Your collection or for a draft? Just curious.
Really for both! I would like the SN for my collection. Like to get the start of the century going from 2000 on! If I have to fill it with another publisher, then that is that. I also may look to them for the draft too; but can't see how much it could help.

It's hard to tell sometimes what folks mean in forums, chat rooms, etc. I had my ex-girlfriend break up with me because of a few things she totally misunderstood through a messenger online. We get a decent amount of spammers here. From what I've seen, it's pretty rare for someone's first post to be (1) in the off-season, (2) not a specific fantasy question, and (3) in the General Talk forum. So at first glance this thread would look like spam to a lot of people here (including me). That combined with the fact that General Talk is a place where people like to screw around and poke fun at each other is why you weren't getting good responses to start with.
But when I realized this was a legitimate thread I did some searching. It seems to be surprisingly difficult to track down the specific issues you're looking for. But I found the most relevant search results using Google Shopping. It searches quite a few different sites, including Ebay, so I think that would be something you should keep an eye on. Still I don't think I found exactly what you want.
I've never read the Sporting News Magazine, but I THINK this is what you're looking for:
S.N. Fantasy Baseball", Alex Rodriguez, cover, 2002 --It lists this as just the cover, but from the pictures it shows the magazine contents. I'm not really sure what to make of that. You may want to contact the seller first.
