I use Avast and Comodo to protect my computer and Auslogics Disk Defrag, Malwarebytes, and CCleaner to keep it running smoothly. I've never had any problems.

I ended up doing some more research on this after all of the good words. I now have it and everything seems to be fine! A couple of other people use my laptop from time to time, and their knowledge of the internets is below par. I feared more for their usage than my own.
It appears everything runs smoother now as well. I think Norton is just too big. It is now gone!

I use AVG. I haven't had a virus and I don't notice it's even running on my computer so I wouldn't ever try switching to something else.

I've been using Kaspersky on the recommendation of our computer guy but I can't really recommend it because a few months ago for the first time ever I got a virus and had to reformat. Cost me an entire day.

Was using this too and had a virus still get me. Switched over to Microsoft Security.
