I use Avast and Comodo to protect my computer and Auslogics Disk Defrag, Malwarebytes, and CCleaner to keep it running smoothly. I've never had any problems.

free and almost daily virus definition updates. it's quality software and saved my ass a bunch of times.
I ended up doing some more research on this after all of the good words. I now have it and everything seems to be fine! A couple of other people use my laptop from time to time, and their knowledge of the internets is below par. I feared more for their usage than my own. It appears everything runs smoother now as well. I think Norton is just too big. It is now gone!

Was using this too and had a virus still get me. Switched over to Microsoft Security.
