I was down there last week for Canada vs. Norway. Buffalo is a very sad place but the Canadians livened it up. HSBC arena is a beautiful facility and it was all Canadian. Amazing atmosphere at the rink. I want to go down again on Weds.....wonder what the Mrs would say to that?

I've been trying to think of a way out of work Wednesday that wouldn't be completely obvious myself. A buddy of mine was at the Boxing Day game against Russia and said similar things about the stadium and atmosphere. From the looks of things, it seems to be almost 90% pro Canada.

Campbell is the only reason it was as close as it was. USA seemed to never really get into it at all.

Do they even play hockey in Canada anymore? You would think that after Carolina won the Cup, the fine folks north of the border would have gone back to other sports like curling, and dogs jumping into a lake. Axe throwing. that kinda crap.
