But Bagwell. Sure, we'll just create this alternate reality where everyone in baseball thought Bagwell was roiding.

As others have said, it's all about perception. Big Hurt was always huge, even as a rook...and Griffey didn't seem to put on extra muscle while his HR's were considered a byproduct of his sweet sweet swing. That's how they are perceived...right or wrong.

I didn't know Thome had managed to pull off the non-roider stigma...I must have missed that. :-b

It's all just conjecture and subjectivity anyway...who can be sure who did or didn't do what? :-?

solid point.

Well... I guess that statement in isolation is scary. I meant to say that I refuse to presume innocence just because someone never tested positive or was never listed on a report... esp when their head grows a few sizes or they go from a 6 HR minor league career to massive slugger then to bizarre degenerative shoulder condition.
When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.

My hat size has grown since I was 19,20,21 .. So have my feet, and my overall body mass for that matter. I have never done steroids.

I could probably hit a baseball better too. I have a better idea of what I am doing in the box, and heck, i bet if i practiced at it every day, for, oh i don't know, 15 years? ... i bet i could get real good at it.
