Unfortunately, this is probably true. And I don't mean unfortunately in terms of Bagwell getting in, he certainly deserves it. It's ridiculous that guys who used steroids (allegedly) to become the very best of the best (Bonds and Clemens, in particular) and guys who used steroids to become great and really grew bigger than the game (McGwire, Sosa, etc) will probably be kept out, while guys who used steriods to become better than just about everyone else, but not transcendent, will get a pass. Let them all in and tell the whole story.

Good idea... because the roiders' stats are posted in the HOF today with the cop-out disclaimer of "we choose to post the info and you can make your own decision". The entry of the wing would state something similar and it will probably be the least popular wing in the Hall.
When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.

a) The eye test b) Punching Judy minor league numbers c) Sudden career crash
Sudden Career Crash? Try degenerative arthritis of the shoulder. I seriously doubt he was a user. ESPN made great points in stating that he was never listed in the Mitchell Report or by anyone else. You could have user friends and not be a user.
