Why not just start slow Cafe mock drafts now? I'm sure it will be awhile before they are completed.

Forum mock drafts are terrible compared to couch managers, the ones on CM get done MUCH faster. I did a league draft on there before and preferred it really.

There's also the chat box when bored during work.

I'd be down for a series of CM mocks. $9 for the next three months followed by a cancellation is fine by me. I also echo GP's sentiments about Cafe mocks; they last about three weeks a pop while CM mocks last about a week.

I think you can speed the cafe mocks up if you designate a couple guys to go ahead and make picks for those that exceeds the 12hour limit or something. They are just mocks and it wouldn't be hard to do I wouldn't think. Either way, just a thought.

FYI, at mockdraftcentral, only one person needs to pay the monthly fee. That person then has permissions to set up private mocks, and anyone can join them without paying the fee. There is a slight restriction that if you don't pay the fee, you can only do 1 mock per day / 3 per week. It isn't clear how that works for slow drafts. I don't know if you can only enter 1 a day, or participate in one at a time.

I'm down for a mock draft...what exactly is the deal with fees? I don't really have anything against paying $3 to somebody's paypal or whatever...
I'm looking to mock draft with some skilled players so I could then post analysis on a blog I'm trying to launch.
