Think you can create as many drafts as you like for a flat subscription fee (on CM).

Even to join you have to pay the fee though......I will drop the 3.00 or whatever but will we find enough to fill mocks consistently?

I don't mind the monthly fee but either way, I'm probably going to cut back on the number of mocks I'll take part in. The usual 5-6 we have is more than plenty enough. I'll keep it to 3 mocks at most and would prefer to jump in later (February).

Besides, we should be having Cafe mocks soon (usually starting a week or so after New Year's).

Not sure how many mocks I will be participating in this year either. Probably one of the cafe ones and maybe a few over at CM's in February. But if I don't do any over at CM's, I'm certainly not going to fork over the monthly fee. If that's the case, I may need some help from someone to provide me with their ADP data (no longer free) for the MDP list. I'm hoping to get started on MDP in about a week or two...

Oof. Money for mock drafts is a deal-breaker for me. I hate to sound like a scrooge, but I'll withdraw my name and just wait for Cafe mocks to roll around.

BOOOO @ paying to mock draft, like who else would pay the fee besides the people who post on this site and of this site, only AD said he's not cheap enough to skip out on doing it due to this new fee?

Doesn't anyone on the internet have a free solution to this new found problem?

I'll only pay up if I string together a few mocks. Seeing how I'm cutting down to 2-3 mocks, paying for a month or two's worth of membership is a waste.

I can see why CM would charge for drafts (hard to live off donations) but it'll only be worth it for those die-hard users who also do their fantasy football drafts there.

Sadly, I haven't seen another alternative... aside from the Cafe, of course. I wish Yahoo had custom mock drafts, come to think of it.

I can't find an alternative for us. Kinda sucks, I was looking forward to the return of Kraftwerk.

Yeah, I was looking forward to mocking Krafty's Chelsea boys for knocking themselves out of the title race in January.
